Zen and the Art of Barely Making It is a survival guide for the BFA program at USM. Distressed and Duotone images throughout evoke the tunnel-vision, battered feeling of being in the program. The use of more blue at the beginning of the book expresses how I felt more relaxed and in control, and red towards the end of the book signal how stress and feelings of overwhelm increase throughout the four years.
